Many people decide to start on a diet regime for several reasons such as weight loss, weight gain etc. Initially the motivational levels are very high and then it starts dwindling as time passes. Many of them come back to square one and the interest deteriorates. Now this is not a good sign. I have patients who try to visualize themselves with the physiques of movie stars but then give up when they realize that it is not an easy task.
Hence I have a perfect plan to stick to a routine is by maintaining a food diary. I use this technique for many of my clients and believe me it works.

I've used a food diary before and it works. I also use a workout diary for the same purpose. There's nothing that keeps your feet to the fire like writing it down!

great advice, most people do not realise or do not count, some of the little snacks they have or bits of food they nibble on when preparing a meal for their kids and suchlike, but if they are honest and put EVERYTHING in the food diary, they will soon see why they are not losing weight

hey check out my blog system if you want a food/exercise journal, it has both that are intertwined with your blog so readers can not only read your weight loss adventures, but also see what you are eating and how you are exercising as well as following your weight loss!
